TALK is what happens when the universe decides to play matchmaker with a garage sale, an obscure Nirvana (UK) album, and a group of L.A. musicians. Led by Andrew Pitrone, who stumbled upon Nirvana's "All of Us" in Amish country (because where else would you find psychedelic treasures?), this band is the musical equivalent of a happy accident. Joined by Ignacio Gonzalez, Modesto Cobian, Gabriel Patcheco, and a cast of characters that reads like a who's who of L.A.'s coolest garage, TALK came together faster than you can say "cosmic convergence" to breathe new life into Nirvana's "Black Flower" for "Yesterday's Sunshine Today". Proof that sometimes, the best bands are born not in smoky bars, but in the aisles of rural rummage sales.
