Henry Priestman

Henry Priestman

Henry Priestman is the musical equivalent of a Swiss Army knife – songwriter, performer, producer, and apparently allergic to sitting still. From punk roots with Yachts (who once warmed up for the Sex Pistols, presumably to make sure they were actually plugged in) to penning platinum hits for The Christians, Henry's been there, done that, and probably wrote a witty song about the t-shirt. After four decades of musical mischief, including a duet with Paul McCartney (because why not?), Henry decided to go solo in 2009, proving it's never too late for a mid-life crisis that actually pays off. Recently spotted lending his talents to "Yesterday's Sunshine Today," a Nirvana (UK) tribute album, Henry continues to demonstrate that age is just a number, and in his case, probably a high chart position.
