- First vinyl reissue of the classic 1976 album (because some crimes are worth repeating)
- Printed liner note/photo insert (visual evidence of the Gilmour connection)
- 3mm spine sleeve (as sturdier as Ken Baker's songwriting reputation)
Pastoral pop meets West Coast sunshine — under the watchful eye of David Gilmour.
By 1975, Unicorn were blending Beatles-esque craft with country shimmer, and Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour liked it so much he produced their third LP for Harvest and Capitol. Too Many Crooks is Ken Baker’s songbook at full gallop: “He’s Got Pride” and “In The Mood” twang like road-trip companions, “Bullseye Bill” slides into funk, and the title track lingers like a warm sunset.
“Disco Dancer” might have missed the charts, but Gilmour nabbed “No Way Out of Here” for his own debut — proof this pastoral-pop heist left no survivors. Now reissued on CD and LP (for the first time) with lyrics and liner notes, it’s a prize thoroughbred for any crate.
