Ollie Halsall may not have been the world's best guitarist, but he was certainly among the top two. As founding member of Timebox, Patto & Boxer, Halsall developed quite a legendary following with his virtuoso guitar playing. He also played with numerous artists including John Cale, Neil Innes as well as being Kevin Ayers sideman for well over a decade until his untimely death in 1992. One of his most notable credits was as "Leppo" - the 5th Rutle, to which he contributed Dirk's vocal and bass lines.
