3-CD set of previously unreleased recordings featuring the enigmatic singer-songwriter Shawn Phillips at the height of his powers on stage in the seventies. Fifty-one songs culled from eight different concerts from 1972 to 1978 make up a substantial part of his prolific catalog. All meticulously restored to present a fine testament to his ability to deliver knockout performances.

Includes several sources never before in circulation among collectors. Released with the blessing of the artist, the unique performances make up a perfect sampler of Phillips' 70's output, and great alternates to the more familiar studio versions.
