On August 27, 1979 — with Hair in theaters and Street Light Shine freshly in the racks — The Shirts hit the stage at Boston's Paradise Rock Club and did what they always did best: played their hearts out for a crowd that came curious and left converted. Recorded for WBCN and unheard for over 45 years, this is the CBGB alumni at full throttle — power-pop hooks, three-part harmonies, twin-guitar punch, and Golden's voice cutting through all of it like a Brooklyn-born force of nature.
