Fernando Perdomo

Fernando Perdomo

Fernando Perdomo makes musical multitasking look like meditation—and sometimes like a superpower. Dubbed “the millennial answer to Todd Rundgren” by LA Weekly, Perdomo is a producer, performer, and multi-instrumentalist who’s as comfortable at Abbey Road (Zebra Crossing) as he is reinterpreting lost gems like Hall & Oates’ War Babies. He’s jammed with Jakob Dylan in Netflix’s Echo in the Canyon, fronted the instrumental prog project Out to Sea, and logged gigs at Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, and just about every stop short of outer space (though NASA is on notice). He co-produced Play On: A Raspberries Tribute alongside Ken Sharp, wrangling an all-star cast to reimagine the power-pop pioneers with reverence and bite. His collaborations with drummer Matt Tecu have yielded Art (2024) and Getting Warmer (2025), showcasing a duo that treats groove and experimentation as twin obsessions. Whether channeling Yes, excavating power-pop B-sides, or building walls of sound in his own studio, Perdomo proves that genre isn’t a box—it’s a buffet. Think Like A Key Music celebrates an artist who doesn’t just wear many hats—he embroiders them, records them, and releases them on vinyl.
