From Turnpike’s 1973 psych-ballad 'The Rake’s Progress' to 2017’s theremin-haunted 'The Local Mister Strange', Clayson juggles folk-punk, space-pop, and madrigals like a mad ringmaster. 'Sol Nova' (’79) glitters past Ziggy, 'Superman ’42' (’75) thunders from another plane, and 'The Moonlight Skater' (’99) waltzes medieval with Jim McCarty.
